TV Mounting in Thurston County and Nearby Communities

Solis Interiors provides TV mounting in Thurston County and nearby communities. A television goes on the wall once. It either hangs flat and level for the next decade or it starts to pull away the first hot summer. Solis Interiors mounts televisions across Lacey, Olympia, Tumwater, and DuPont, fastening into framing or blocking we add rather than trusting a stud finder's beep.

Mount the TV where the wall can support its hardware

A TV's location, wall or ceiling surface, and mounting hardware all affect how it attaches. Overlooking the product instructions or framing can put the mount in the wrong place or leave drywall work out of the plan.

Solis installs the mount at the chosen location using its hardware instructions and known framing or backing. When support work requires opening drywall, Solis adds backing and patches the wall after mounting so the finish meets the installation.

  • TV mounted at the selected location.
  • Related drywall opening or patching carried with the work.

Choosing the mount for the television and the wall

A fixed bracket, a tilting mount, and a full-motion arm put very different loads on a wall, and the further the screen sits from the surface the more leverage it has. We check the mount's rating against the television, confirm the wall can take the pull, and set the height to where you actually watch from. Above a fireplace or in a corner, that conversation happens before anything is drilled.

Common questions

What the bracket is actually fastened to

The wall damage we see almost always starts with a mount screwed into drywall alone, or into a single stud that was not where the bracket wanted it. We find the framing, add blocking behind the board when the position does not line up with a stud, and set the fasteners into that. The bracket's own instructions decide the hardware and the torque. The wall decides whether we open it first.

Why the week of a move-out matters here

JBLM families and Northwest Landing residents work to dates that are not negotiable: a move-out inspection, a cleaning window, then keys. A television still leaning against the wall is a problem on that timeline. We mount, level, and tuck the cables, usually in a single visit.

Can you hide the cables and the power?

We can run cables through a surface raceway or a wall plate so the install looks finished, and we can conceal a cord inside the wall where the wall allows it. Bringing a new outlet or circuit to that spot is electrical work for a licensed electrician. If you want the power hidden, we will tell you what the electrician has to do first and schedule around it.

Will it work on brick, tile, or a steel stud?

Yes, with the right hardware, and it is not the same hardware for any of the three. Masonry takes its own anchors. Tile needs the hole placed and sealed carefully. Steel studs need toggles or added blocking rather than a screw driven into the flange. Send a photo of the wall with the estimate request so we price the surface you actually have.
