Drywall hung and finished for Tenino rooms and additions
We do drywall installation in Tenino for new rooms, additions and remodels, then tape and finish the joints to the surface you select. Before we price it, we pin down the board type, every wall and ceiling, the openings other trades still need and where our work hands off.

Install drywall with the finished room in mind
New and renovated rooms can have different board, backing, opening, and finish requirements. When installation ends at bare sheets, seams, texture, smooth finishing, and primer preparation may be left for a separate handoff.
Solis installs drywall from the drawings and wall conditions, then carries board through taping and the selected finish. Connecting installation with finishing leaves the walls ready for their next preparation and coating work.
- Board installation follows drawings and wall conditions.
- Taping and selected finish carried with the installation.

Drywall installation in Tenino homes
When Tenino's homes were built shapes what is behind the wall and which rules apply to the work.
- 17% Before 1940
- 12% 1940–1959
- 22% 1960–1979
- 21% 1980–1999
- 29% 2000 or later
- 1980Median year Tenino homes were built
Half of Tenino's homes were built before 1980 and half after. The estimate is wide here, about 9 years either way. New walls in an existing home are finished to meet what is already there, so the home's age shapes the finish plan. U.S. Census Bureau, ACS 2020–2024, median year structure built
- 29.3%of Tenino homes were built in 2000 or later
Newer homes are almost all drywall over wood framing, which keeps new work and the existing walls consistent. U.S. Census Bureau, 2020–2024 ACS 5-year estimates
Lay out the surfaces, openings and transitions
Room plans and measurements give the area to board, and doors, windows, soffits, corners and ceiling changes decide how the sheets meet. We mark openings another trade still needs and any surface that stays bare, so nothing gets closed up early and torn back out.
Gypsum Association GA-216 application and finishing of gypsum panels
Follow the board and assembly specification
Your drawings name the panel and the wall build. Where a wall has fire or sound requirements, we follow its assembly reference, layers, joints and penetrations included. A bid line that just says 'drywall' doesn't cover that, so we write it out.
Choose the finish that comes after hanging
We can hang board only, or carry on through taping, texture, primer and paint. GA-214 spells out the finish levels, from Level 4 joint treatment to the Level 5 full skim. Name the level and the decoration and the quote shows the handoff in writing.
What goes into an installation quote
Send the current plans or room sizes, the board specification, whether the framing is ready, the openings and your finish schedule. Mark what stays open and say whether texture, primer or paint is included. We list hanging separately from the finishing steps.
