Drywall patches for Tenino holes and access cutouts
We do drywall patching in Tenino, closing a hole or an access cutout with a fitted piece of board and blending it into the wall or ceiling around it. A patch covers one defined opening; a failed seam or a wider damaged area turns into a bigger repair, and we tell you when that's the case.

Patch the opening and blend it into the surrounding wall
An opening from access work or a damaged spot can leave a hard edge in an otherwise finished room. Replacing the missing board alone may leave the patch visible where its seam or texture meets the existing wall.
Solis patches localized drywall openings, prepares the seams, and blends texture or smooth finishing into the surrounding area. For a full room finish, Solis carries the repaired surface through primer and paint.

Close the opening with a supported repair
We trim the hole back to firm edges, add support behind it where needed and fit a new piece of drywall. Tape and compound join it to the panel around it, feathered wide so the patch sits in the plane of the wall. GA-216 describes those application and finishing steps.

Know when a patch becomes a wider repair
One isolated hole or cutout is a patch. A crack running along a joint, soft board around several openings or a long damaged strip may need new board past the original hole. We look at the actual openings and ask whether another trade still needs one open before we close it.
Continue texture and paint at the chosen edge
We finish the patch smooth or blend it into the texture around it. Paint can stop at the patch, run to a corner or cover the whole wall or ceiling. Old paint and light across the surface can make a small touch-up show, so we settle texture and paint together.
Pricing a patch
Text the size of the hole, where it is, a close photo and one of the whole wall, plus the current finish. Tell us whether the plumber or electrician is done with it and whether to include texture, primer or paint. We quote that patch on its own.
Drywall Patching questions in Tenino
Is drywall patching different from drywall repair?
Patching closes one defined opening. A failed seam or wider damage needs more board work, and we quote it as a repair.
Can a patch estimate include paint?
Yes. Tell us whether the paint stops at the patch, runs to the corner or covers the whole surface.
