Pick the repair that fits the opening
We fill and sand a shallow dent in place. A hole with crumbled edges gets cut square, backed and fitted with new board. Compound feathers the patch into the wall plane and sanding readies it for texture or a smooth coat. Matching texture and converting a wall to smooth are priced differently. You also pick the paint line: the patch, the nearest corner or a larger area.
Coordinate any access opening
